How it works

Three steps. One ZIP for every marketplace.

01

Drop your photos.

Select as many JPG, PNG, WebP or iPhone HEIC photos as you like — a whole shoot at once. Nothing is uploaded; the files are read straight from your device.

02

Pick your marketplaces.

Tick every platform you list on, or set a custom size. Choose whether to pad the photo onto a white canvas or crop it to fill the frame, and pick JPG, PNG or WebP.

03

Download one ZIP.

Each photo is resized once per marketplace and sorted into a folder per platform — etsy/, amazon/, shopify/ — with your original file names kept.

Why resize product photos per marketplace

Every marketplace crops and scales your photos a little differently. Upload a tall phone photo to a square grid and the platform decides what gets cut off — often the top of the product. Resizing to each platform's preferred size and aspect ratio first means buyers see the whole item, and zoom works the way it should.

Doing that by hand is where the time goes: one shoot, five marketplaces, and suddenly you're exporting the same photo five times. This tool counts each source photo once and exports it everywhere you sell, in one pass — the same approach ProductScene's batch editor uses for whole catalogs.

Amazon note

Amazon main images need pure white

Amazon asks for main images on a pure white background (RGB 255, 255, 255), with the product filling about 85% of the frame and at least 1000 px on the longest side so zoom turns on. The Amazon preset always pads with pure white. It can't remove an existing background — if your photo was shot on a table or a sheet, it needs background removal first.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

How do I resize multiple images at once?

Drop all your photos into the tool above, tick the marketplaces you want (or enter a custom width and height), and press Resize. Every photo is resized for every size you picked, then downloaded as one ZIP with a folder per marketplace. If you only resize one photo to one size, it downloads directly.

Are my photos uploaded anywhere?

No. Resizing happens on your own device using your browser's canvas — your photos are never sent to a server, and there's no signup or watermark. You can open your browser's network tab while it runs to check.

What size should Etsy listing photos be?

Etsy recommends photos at least 2000 px on the shortest side, and square images display best in search results and on the listing page. Your first photo should be at least 635 px wide. The Etsy preset exports 2000 × 2000 px squares.

What size should Shopify and Amazon product images be?

Shopify recommends 2048 × 2048 px square images, with a maximum of 5000 × 5000 px and under 20 MB per file. Amazon accepts images from 500 to 10,000 px on the longest side, and needs at least 1000 px for zoom; main images must be on pure white (RGB 255, 255, 255) with the product filling about 85% of the frame.

Will resizing reduce photo quality?

Shrinking a large photo keeps it sharp — the tool uses high-quality resampling. Making a small photo bigger can't add detail that wasn't captured, so start from the largest original you have. For JPG and WebP, a quality setting of 85–95 keeps files small without visible loss; PNG is lossless but produces larger files.

Should I pad or crop my photos?

Pad to fit keeps the whole product visible and fills the leftover space with white (or transparency for PNG and WebP) — the safe choice for marketplace main images. Crop to fill covers the whole frame and trims the edges from the center, which suits photos where the product sits in the middle with room around it.

Can this also remove backgrounds?

This free tool only resizes. ProductScene's batch editor removes backgrounds, adds a natural shadow and resizes every photo for every marketplace in one batch — the free trial includes 20 photos with no watermark.
